Greg Fuller is a competitive shooter, certified firearms instructor, and founder of Fuller Mag Defense LLC,a company dedicated to firearms education with purpose: breaking stigmas around Black gun ownership and cultivating a new generation of responsible, informed gun owners.

Greg began his competitive shooting journey in the summer of 2021, encouraged by a friend and former instructor from his years in juvenile services. His first match — where he met Team Blacksmith shooters Kwasi and Will Robinson — opened the door to a discipline that matched his passion for growth, focus,and preparation under pressure.

He primarily competes in USPSA events and is expanding into two-gun competitions. Known for his strong mental game and consistency, Greg trains through dry fire practice 3–4 times per week, early stage walkthroughs, and mental visualization. He listens to music pre-match to stay centered and brings that same mindfulness to every stage. He shoots a Walther PDP 5” with Blazer ammo and never competes withouthis prescription eyewear and signatureTiger’s Eye bracelet for good luck.

Greg’s proudest moments include winning 1st place at the 2025 Black Alpha Tactical DMV Outlaw Shootout Match, and placing 5th at a match in Bridgeville, Delaware, with his wife and son in the crowd. That support from family mirrors his commitment to community. A father of five, he has spent over a decade working with youth in secure care, public schools, and inner-city programs. Today, he’s developing a six-week gun violence prevention pilot that combines firearms safety, meditation, and Afrocentric history to build awareness, discipline, and purpose — including opportunities for youth to attend USPSA matches and meet Team Blacksmith.

For Greg, Team Blacksmith is more than competition: it’s representation, mentorship, and outreach. As the team’s community bridge, he connects the next generation to the sport, reminding new shooters: “Don’t skip the fundamental. This sport teaches you how to perform under pressure, and that mindset carries through life.”
