Each member brings a unique story, but they share the same mentality: train hard, stay humble, and push the limits of performance. From local matches to national stages, Team Blacksmith stands as proof that skill is forged, not given.

Beyond competition, the team also serves as a platform for education, mentorship, and brand partnership—connecting manufacturers, sponsors, and audiences through authentic representation and high-impact media.

Omar Harris

Omar Harris brings over two decades of competitive spirit to Team Blacksmith. A former motorcycle racer, Omar spent 20 years on the track before retiring in 2017 after a serious crash at Millville International Raceway. Seeking a new challenge, he discovered competitive shooting at age 55—a hobby that quickly became a passion and the perfect replacement for the adrenaline and camaraderie of racing.

Based in Charles County, Maryland, Kofi Handon brings a versatile background in education, firearms training, and photography to Team Blacksmith. He has been a firearms instructor since February, training officers for Allied Universal Security, and entered the competitive shooting world less than a year ago. Starting with steel challenge matches, he quickly expanded into USPSA and IDPA, embracing the challenge of continuous improvement.
